Who can apply for a CSR initiative?
Any company registered under the Companies Act that wishes to deploy CSR funds in Chengalpattu district. Register once on this portal with your company details, then apply against any open initiative.
Is there a fee to use the portal?
No. The portal is operated by the District Collectorate and is free for companies and the public.
How will we know the status of our application?
The point of contact named in your application receives an email at each stage — receipt, review decision, and every weekly progress update until completion.
How is progress verified?
The implementing department posts weekly progress with photographs through the Collectorate. Sponsors and the public see the same reports on the initiative page.
Can we propose a new initiative not listed here?
Yes — write to the CSR cell at the address above with a concept note. The CSR advisory committee reviews proposals against district priorities.
