Who can partner through Virutcham?
Companies covered under Section 135 of the Companies Act, CSR foundations, PSUs, industry associations, academic institutions and NGOs working in Chengalpattu district.
Is there a fee to use the platform?
No. Virutcham is operated by the District Administration and is free for partners and the public.
How is a project selected?
Departments submit verified requirements; the District CSR Committee vets them and publishes them with scope, beneficiaries and cost.
How is progress monitored?
Implementing departments post periodic progress updates with photographs. Sponsors and the public see the same reports on the project page.
Can we propose a project of our own?
Yes. Write to the CSR Coordination Cell with a concept note; it will be assessed against district development priorities.
