Desilting of the Thangal Eri (Thirumani) minor irrigation tank at Thirumani habitation, Thirumani panchayat, Thirukazhukundram block (Kattankolathur sub division). The work covers removal of 6723 cubic metres of silt across a bund length of 600 metres through 6 desilting pits, restoring storage capacity for the 16.23 hectare tank (Survey No. 301) and strengthening groundwater recharge for surrounding farmland.
