Desilting of the Rajampalayam Thangal minor irrigation tank at Rajampalayam Colony habitation, Annangal panchayat, Acharapakkam block (Maduranthakam sub division). The work covers removal of 4800 cubic metres of silt across a bund length of 800 metres through 16 desilting pits, restoring storage capacity for the 14.2 hectare tank (Survey No. 144) and strengthening groundwater recharge for surrounding farmland.
