Desilting of the Colony Thangal minor irrigation tank at Kattukudalur Colony habitation, Kattukudalur panchayat, Acharapakkam block (Maduranthakam sub division). The work covers removal of 6900 cubic metres of silt across a bund length of 1170 metres through 23 desilting pits, restoring storage capacity for the 13.2 hectare tank (Survey No. 156) and strengthening groundwater recharge for surrounding farmland.
