Desilting of the Achivilagam Thangal minor irrigation tank at Chinna Arungal habitation, Kodur panchayat, Lathur block (Maduranthakam sub division). The work covers removal of 7718 cubic metres of silt across a bund length of 670 metres through 7 desilting pits, restoring storage capacity for the 7.89 hectare tank (Survey No. 35) and strengthening groundwater recharge for surrounding farmland.
