Desilting of the Thagappan Thangal Eri minor irrigation tank at Thazhambedu habitation, Thazhambedu panchayat, Thirukazhukundram block (Kattankolathur sub division). The work covers removal of 7340 cubic metres of silt across a bund length of 750 metres through 7 desilting pits, restoring storage capacity for the 13.25 hectare tank (Survey No. 186) and strengthening groundwater recharge for surrounding farmland.
