Desilting of the Sempoondi Thangal minor irrigation tank at Sempoondi habitation, Sempoondi panchayat, Acharapakkam block (Maduranthakam sub division). The work covers removal of 1500 cubic metres of silt across a bund length of 280 metres through 5 desilting pits, restoring storage capacity for the 4.89 hectare tank (Survey No. 155) and strengthening groundwater recharge for surrounding farmland.
