Desilting of the Morapakkam Thatteri minor irrigation tank at Morapakkam habitation, Morapakkam panchayat, Acharapakkam block (Maduranthakam sub division). The work covers removal of 6300 cubic metres of silt across a bund length of 1090 metres through 21 desilting pits, restoring storage capacity for the 5.56 hectare tank (Survey No. 198) and strengthening groundwater recharge for surrounding farmland.
