Desilting of the Chitrakoodam Thangal minor irrigation tank at Chitrakoodam habitation, Vedanthangal panchayat, Acharapakkam block (Maduranthakam sub division). The work covers removal of 4200 cubic metres of silt across a bund length of 700 metres through 14 desilting pits, restoring storage capacity for the 20 hectare tank (Survey No. 34) and strengthening groundwater recharge for surrounding farmland.
