Desilting of the Veppankaranai Eri minor irrigation tank at Veppankaranai habitation, Vadamanipakkam panchayat, Acharapakkam block (Maduranthakam sub division). The work covers removal of 2700 cubic metres of silt across a bund length of 450 metres through 9 desilting pits, restoring storage capacity for the 20 hectare tank (Survey No. 37) and strengthening groundwater recharge for surrounding farmland.
