Removal of weeds, vegetation, water weeds and floating materials in the upstream reach of Neenjal Maduvu Anicut from L.S. 0 m to 5,500 m in Chengalpattu Taluk, Chengalpattu District. The work will use machinery to remove accumulated vegetation and floating material, convey the removed material, and dump it safely in a suitable low-lying area using poclain machinery, tippers and labourers. The work is intended to clear the upstream waterway, improve unobstructed flow towards the anicut and remove accumulated aquatic growth over the identified 5.5 km reach. Estimate amount: ₹30,00,000.
