Desilting of the Thinnalur Vayal Thangal minor irrigation tank at Thinnalur habitation, Thinnalur panchayat, Acharapakkam block (Maduranthakam sub division). The work covers removal of 2400 cubic metres of silt across a bund length of 400 metres through 8 desilting pits, restoring storage capacity for the 30 hectare tank (Survey No. 57) and strengthening groundwater recharge for surrounding farmland.
